Focus: When the Lord Fights your Battles

WORD FOR TODAY
The victory of a man is only complete when the Lord fights his battle. Whenever you have victory under the arm of the Almighty God, it is not a time to merry but a time to reverence God with a godly fear and worship Him!!!

The Egyptians continued to oppress the Israelites until the Lord fought for them. But when they saw the power of God over the Egyptians pursuing to destroy them they worshipped God for who He is and for His greatness.

They knew by experience what God can do and the reality of His power and existence. It is possible there are some of them who were following because their elders motivated them but now before their very eyes they saw the wonders of God.

If you are the one fighting your battle, total victory is not assured because you are subjected to various limitations as human. The fact that most of the battle that confront us is beyond us makes it very important for us to submit to God and allow Him to help us in confronting various battles of life. Whenever God fights your battles do not forget to remain humble in adoration of who He is and be mindful of the fact that the God who is loving can as well be a consuming fire!!!

Prayer Point
Lord! Help me to serve you with godly awe; let me always remember that you are a loving God as well as a consuming fire in Jesus name. Amen
