It was estimated that Lagos State debt profile in 2018 was N1.045t (N1 Trillion) while the entire East was far below half a Trilion Naira. The Lagos State borrowed more than its IGR in 2018. The Lagos State IGR in 2018 stood at half Trillion Naira. |

Poor analysis. What u should do is revenue debt ratio. Lagos Revenue debt ratio is sustainable. |

Lagos State has no capacity to pay its debt hence its debt profile keeps rising every year. You can't rely on multiple taxations as capacity to pay off your debts unless you want to force companies out of the state. |
