The issue with Nigeria...our law enforcement is stuck in the 1960's. No advanced 21st century methods. Meanwhile, crime waits for no man. So, crude methods it is. (And yes, am a victim too...).

That's why we have to vote out PDP and APC, and vote in someone new in 2023...and if someone new does not do the job..vote them out too....and stop supporting corrupotion whether it be Bubu or PDP....MAYBE people would do their jobs....like installing CCTV, DATABSES, DNA , forensic labs, etc.

Well we have to work for it.

All those white man country that you want to emigrate to....even as recently as 30 years ago, some of them had equally bad and evil police forces.

Chicago PD used to have a 'room' where lots of innocent suspects, mostly black were tortured...and in some instances, killed. And the LA Police department used to be so corrupt some 50 years ago. Some police forces stateside, even now, are basically extensions of the local racist posse.

The UK self....forty years ago..the local police used to break up protests using methods that would be familliar to the Nigerian police....

But things are getting better in the US because people get off their chairs and take part in the democratic process. And fight to have a just police force. The fight contines.

In Nigeria, all we do is just sit down and write long treatsies on Nairaland hailing the latest corrupt poltical star...or our dreams on how Nigeria can be improved...without taking action (and yes, that includes wrechted old me).

Some two weeks ago was a near harrowing one. These guys in Abeokuta almost framed us up for pushing our broken down vehicle to the front of their office. An angel among them eventually intervened and asked that we push the vehicle to another location nearby

You can't be putting a big generator indoors, most especially, if hot. It needs a lot of air.
Fire can come from anywhere at anytime, the best place to keep a generator is outdoors if you live in a secured area.
Our gen is PERMANENTLY outside with just a shade on it and a tarpaulin cover at the front.
If you live in a secured area, you don't need to put everything inside.
