This write up is just an observation and not a conclusion. Days after the July 4 pipeline explosion at Ijegun that was caused by undisclosed pipeline vandals who tried to scoop fuel from the pipeline, Petrocam petrol stations around Ejigbo have since stopped operations.

Since the unfortunate incident that claimed about ten lives and destroyed properties worth billions of naira occured, petrocam petrol stations at "Ile epo" bus stop Ejigbo and also the one at "Canoe" bus stop in Chivita Avenue have been on padlocks. Could it be a coincidence or are they directly involved? These are questions I wish I could get answers to.

Kindly note that this service stations are not in any way close to the area where the incident occurred, so it couldn't be a preventive measure for a reoccurrence of the inferno. I don't know if other petrocam petrol stations have been in operation as the two stations mentioned in the write up are the ones along my route.

I'm not blogger neither am I a writer, so pardon my choice of words or other things you think are unprofessional in the write up.
