I greatly admire Asiwaju and I acknowledge there is no one in Nigeria or anywhere in West Africa with the kind of political midas touch he is gifted with. He is a true "smooth operator" in the field of politics. However, Yoruba is faced with ethnic assault at moment and Tinubu needs to think as Yoruba and speak as one. If his party commitments will be compromised by him speaking for Yoruba, then he needs to shut up and not speak at all. His speeches is becoming anti-Yoruba. There is much at stake for him, but he risks turning Yoruba off! God Bless Yorubaland! 4 Likes 1 Share |

IPOB miscreants now over labouring to defend Yorubas in hope to tarnish Tinubu's image. As you can see it is not out of love, but hatred for anything good in Nigeria and the current administration. |

Egbon, you should hear some of the comments passed on him in real life & on call-in radio talk shows. The man may just drive a wedge between himself & the Yoruba which his detractors may just cash in on seriously. If he’s not going to be pro-Yoruba in talks then he best not speak at all like you said. Blessings Baba. 3 Likes |

OgboAto: As things are right now, there are four stakeholders in APC - NW, NC, NE and SW. All four are on NOTICE! Unless the issue of security is quickly addressed, the demand for restructuring will escalate with street protests and detachments. It will definitely be anti-North. North will become agitated and feel pressure not to relinquish power in 2023. But this is only possible through use of Army deployment and DSS to sweep up SW leaders angling for succession. Such action will further deteriorate relations and spin off into another episode of SW vs North tension and 90s will replay itself. This time Nigeria will not survive it and North will not survive it. 2023 is at great risk and so Tinubu's friends and loyalists are people like me and you, not Danladi in North or Chibuke in East. One more nonsense from him against Yoruba and I will join voices against him. Im still very offended in the way he treated Ambode. He has one more cut to make with that tongue....and Ill blacklist him. Team Lagos! |

OgboAto: Those that call on radio stations don't vote. Those that vote do not have time to call radio shows. If there is war, those that call on the radio station will run, it is the Agberos and Area Boys that will face the war not the nitwits that sit down in their cool office and call radio station. Tinubu is not their fathers' mate. Tinubu is the leader of the Yorubas, any other person that calls himself Yoruba leader is high on expired Igbo manufactured drugs. 2 Likes |

Tinubu identifies himself as "nationalist". To those who might not know, in the Nigerian context, a nationalist is one who puts Nigeria above his own ethnic identity. Even Buhari, who Presides over Nigeria, is not a nationalist. No Arewa leader, military or civilian, has ever been a nationalist. A nationalist can be a political leader, thats fine...but a conservatist must be the ethnic leader for Yoruba. Tinubu will not be Yoruba leader, because the name Yoruba itself is a ethnic identifier. Nigeria does not have ethnicity, therefore Tinubu is at home as a nationalist leading Nigeria...but I honestly cant reconcile or harmonize a nationalist occupying role of a conservatist. 2 Likes |
