Windows 7 Starter is just the base OS of Windows 7. It just gives you a 'feel' of what Windows 7 looks like. Some of the disadvantages include but not limited to -Inability to set a custom desktop background (You cannot change the desktop background)  -Inability to use the Windows Aero Effect (No transparency) -Inability to create a wireless Peer to Peer Network These are the ones i can remember though. |
