The Nigerian Senate has given additional time to the ad-hoc committee set up to probe Senator Elisha Abbo on the alleged assault case. The chairman of the committee, Sam Egwu, was given extra time at the floor of the Senate on July 17, 2019. Senator Elisha Abbo was seen in a video exclusive to Premium Times allegedly assaulting a nursing mother in an adult toy shop in Abuja.
