Juventus have completed the signing of defender Matthijs De Ligt from Ajax for £68m, MySportDab reports.

De Ligt agreed personal terms with Juventus last week that will see the defender earn €12m (£11m/$13m) per season - €8m in basic salary with €4m in bonuses.

And the 19-year-old has now finalised his move to Juve, who have seen off competition from a host of Europe's top clubs, including Barcelona, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain.

De Ligt's agent Mino Raiola has claimed thatthere was an agreement with Ajaxfor the defender to leave this summer if a suitable offer was made.

After Ajax and Juventus went back and forth over the price for De Ligt, the Dutch champions have now accepted an offer for their in-demand teenage defender, which includes €5m in add-ons.

He arrived in Turin on Tuesday and underwent a medical on Wednesday ahead of the completion of his move.

De Ligt has become one of the most highly coveted defensive prospects in Europe since making his senior debut for Ajax in 2016.
