I have a dependant who has dandruff and there's nothing i've been asked to buy as a cure that i've not bought. I even had her cut her hair in April to allow the soaps and creams get into the scalp but till 2day,the dandruff hasnt stopped. What do I do?people say it doesnt have a cure is it true?

Use lemon juice as last rinse while washin the hair. Make sure she has a proper balanced diet and she needs to once in a while, expose her scalp a bit to sun rays, try that for a month and see the outcome!

Sounds like straightforward seborrhoeic Dermatitis
A course of treatment with Selenium sulfide shampoo(SELSUN) does wonders.
Let us know how it went.

Did any of the suggestions work?

She's been on 'head &shoulder' shampoo and 'sulphur8' hair cream since last year when she cut her hair. Now she's growing it again and stil using them but its started coming again

Get Selsun and use every other day for 6 weeks, that is the key in treatment, if it isnt completed, relapses are quite common.sulphur will work but might take longer and has to be used religiously.

try Neutrogena T/Gel or Selsun and if any these dont work/help, she will need to see a dermatologist to prescribe her a more potent treatment like Nizoral A-D with 2% more strength. also try ones with Salicylic acid.
