NYSC corp members saves a stroke patient abandoned by family to die. Some NYSC members belonging to Charity in the Community Development Service (CDS) have recounted how they met and helped an old man suffering from stroke and could not move about or help himself. He was abandoned by his family to die. They recounted how they help bathe and clothe him, feed him, wash his clothes and kitchen utensils, cleans and scrubbed his house, kitchen and toilet, cooked for him, and donated some money and food items for him. Here them…… “What a wicked world”! This old man was abandoned by his 7 children and wife because he is a victim of stroke but God in his infinite mercy, we were able to locate him and render him our token of support as Charity sub CDS concern”. there's something this man is not saying. Maybe he is among those men who abandon their wife and children when the going was smooth, lavishes his money on other women and alcohol. Now old age is not being fair to him and he wants them to come and take care of him . Just my thought tho |
