Cristiano Ronaldo and Maurizio Sarri appeared to engage in a touchline spat during Juventus' International Champions Cup clash with Tottenham on Sunday, MySportDab reports.

The Portugal international was substituted moments after putting the Italian giants 2-1 ahead against Spurs, and it seems that this rubbed him up the wrong way.

footage, which is widely available on social media, shows Ronaldo walking off the pitch after his number is called and shaking hands with a Juventus coach.

He then walks past Sarri and utters something but fails to stop, leaving the Juventus boss standing on the touchline looking sheepish.

Some fans on social media believe Ronaldo was upset about being hooked so soon after scoring, despite the fact the match was just a friendly.

The match was his first match. Was pretty much a screening match because there were lots of relatively unknown players. The only disappointment was Rabiot, he looked unfit and was actually the one who lost possession for the kane goal from centre circle.

Ronaldo was good as usual. Scored a goal. De ligt came on and make a spectacular tackle that let you know he's good. I dont know how sarri will arrange the midfield.
