Alex Iwobi Reacts To Report About Leaving Arsenal by Abdulazeez99: 8:13pm On Jul 21, 2019 |
Nigerian midfielder, Alex Iwobi, has denied a false report that he may be looking to leave current club, Arsenal, Igbere TV reports. The report claims that Iwobi said he would leave the London club if they signed Crystal Palace forward, Wilfried Zaha. The 23-year-old clarified his comments in a tweet on Sunday. “Fake News & Click Bait! I Don’t know Why Some Newspapers Enjoy Twisting Words ♂️. I Hope We Sign World Class Players @Arsenal And Progress As A Team . I’m Looking Forward To The New Season. Happy Sunday ,” he wrote. Alex Iwobi was part of the Nigerian squad that finished in third place at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON). He scored just one goal in appearances at the continental championship. Iwobi shouldn't go anywhere.. He should stay and fight for a place in the team, that's how stars do. Arsenal should also try to get a natural winger.. Ziyech, Everton, Zaha or Neres will be a nice buy 5 Likes 1 Share |

If he leaves, that would be the biggest club he'll ever play for. Sometimes, it is good to work your way up and not the reverse. He is a good player but lacks confidence and is so unsure of himself when he is with the ball. 2 Likes |

He is not serious. I read the story on some reputable UK newspapers online. If he really didn't say anything he should take them to court and make millions of $ & £ He probably spoke while drunk and the papers took it. 1 Like |

Iwobi stop deceiving yourself. If the statement credited to you was false as you claim, or you are sure of not being under the influence of alcohol, at the you made that statement to the reporter of DM newspaper (reputable british paper), you will be a fool for not taking a legal action. Mumu |
