As a senior assistant Manager in the Bank, It was just a step between him and the Manager’s position

The inevitable happened in 2015 and there was a massive retrenchment which affected several other members of staff of the Bank including Chris

The Bank paid him off and from there he struggled to get another job which he eventually got but not a high paying job like the Bank’s job which he lost
