A group called West Africa State League recently accused popular singer Peter Okoye of defrauding them. According to the public announcement made, the singer whose stage name is Mr P allegedly failed to honour an event he was paid for. This event was the inauguration ceremony of West Africa State League organised by the West Africa Youth Support Development Forum in partnership with West Africa Youth Council.

According to the group, they paid the singer a sum of N2.8 million but he did not turn up for the occasion which was held at Stephen Keshi stadium in Asaba, Delta. This group shared screenshots of the money which was supposedly paid to Peter Okoye. The photos showed that the payment was made in instalments.

Also, screenshots of the legal letter sent to Peter Okoye were also shared. The group expressed disappointment in Peter. The tail end of their caption read thus: "This is very bad, that the person we the youths are looking up to is the one who failed us."

How can they pay such huge amount for Peter ..are they ok?....If they needed a dancer, why not call kaffy?....why auto tune Peter?...somebody that can't sing to save his life....
