Bubu must be held accountable. Injustice to one is an injustice to all.

I don't think so.. Ipob have been shot at severally and dozens killed and wonder. .. They have been labelled a terrorist group and some people were busy having orgasm all over the place to that effect because it was south east... So brotherly an injustice to one is not an injustice to all in Nigeria for now... undecided

Abeg joor!

What would happen if similar groups stage a protest like this in Washington DC close to the White House?
The police would give put up a cordon that they're not allowed to pass. If they attempt to pass it, they'd be given a verbal warning to stop and the section of the law they're breaking would be read to them and inform them that if they continue force would be used against them. If they insist on passing, the police would charge at them with clubs, shields and battons.

There is no world in which police fire live bullets at protesters in DC.

What kinda country is this?
When they meet unarmed citizens, they have guns.
When they meet fully armed and ready bandits, they don't have guns.

I don't understand how Nigerians think and judge situations. Is this the first time Shites will be using arms? You will rather believe that police stray bullets killed a good number of their own officers, just because it appeal to tour bias

Here is my worry ,

Nigeria is heading for a bloody revolution. How you may say?
Well each time the shites protest and you send the police to shoot them they come back again... And again you send the police to shoot them yet again they come back !

The world is watching , Nigerians are watching , the shites are showing all Nigerians that irrespective of guns and death they still fight against the oppression.

How long before other tribes and religions take this method up to fight against the federal government?

The president didn't handle this well.. anyways I guess before something new is built the old must be torn down

It seems the government is unintentionally pushing Nigerian towards a rather undesirable end

Sad indeed

let the FG give them the type of treatment they give ipob protesters let's see if they will come back.

Release their leader simple. Several courts have ordered for his release.

What is his offense in the first place?

If they shiiates truly have a case, then they should wait for the court to decide the faith of their leader. Nigeria is a country with laws.We won't be like Syria or libya, never.

In a statement released by Seun Bakare, the programme manager at Amnesty International Nigeria, the body condemned the police for opening fire on ''unarmed'' Shi'ites members.

According to the statement, six persons were killed in the cross fire. Read the statement below

You really have no fear of God. Change tour moniker, please.

Watch the videos of yesterday's bloody event in Abuja. All the videos show well armed and trigger happy police officers dispersing unrelenting protesters with bullets and dropping them dead. Crimes against humanity.

No video evidence shows Shi'ites shooting at police. Maybe next the security officers will hire shooters dressing like Shi'ites to shoot at security forces to give them bad name. That's the only thing that remains because all attempts to frame them and portray them as armed and violent have failed. How can protesters marching with their children, women and turbaned clerics shoot at police? This govt is evil!!! Buhari is evil.

Look at the pictures of the DCP killed. He sustained gunshots at the back and side of his head. Those are from stray bullets. Its friendly fire. Not Shi'ites gunfire. Shi'ites were pictured with throwing stones and sending back teargas shot by police after the police obstructed their protest march. Shi'ites have the right to protest and march peacefully. They are Nigerians. It is their human and constitutional rights, whether Buhari and his bandits like it or not. The police are acting like armed bandits shooting at unarmed protesters. With their numbers and zeal, if those protesters were armed, they would have eliminated each and every single policeman trying to stop them yesterday.

All those trying to implicate the Shi'ite IMN protesters in gunshots, you're used to being denied your human and constitutional rights to protest. You want to remain slaves.
