Former minister of transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, has been named in President Muhammadu Buhari’s ministerial nominees’ list, Igbere TV reports.

Igbere TV gathers that also in the list are former governor of Osun State, Rauf Aregbesola; former Benue State governor, George Akume; former Bayelsa State governor, Timipre Sylva.

Senator Godswill Akpabio has also made the list which was announced on Tuesday on the floor of the Senate.

Born and raised in Osun, I know he did quite well in that aspect but what about the well-being of the people, payment of pensions and salaries in the state. He did harm to education the most by joining the schools together and all that.

If there is anything I commend obasanjo for, it will be the competence in recruiting the right persons for the job. I remeber Frank Nweke June, Remi Oyo, and likes. These guys were not retired governors but persons who were able to deliver.

I'm particularly thrilled about Keyamo. I in fact think he'll make a very good, strong, firm, and effective Attorney General. If Mr. Festus Keyamo is so appointed, it will be a good omen that the blatantly dubious characters of persons such as the erstwhile AG Abubakar(?) Malami are being steadily curtailed by President Buhari. And that says a lot about Mr. Buhari who appears lethargic on a lot of national issues, even if those are perceptions brought about primarily by his lack of effective communication skills.

But hey, we shall see.
