Army General React To “repentant Boko Haram Members Can Become President” Report by Despirado121(m): 2:41pm On Jul 23, 2019
Nigerian army's General Officer Commanding (GOC) 7 Div, Maiduguri, Maj.-Gen. Bulama Biu has debunked comment of Boko Haram members becoming the country's President which was linked to him.

According to Maj.-Gen. Biu, the comment was taken out of context in a deliberate campaign of misinformation, as he only called on the insurgents to surrender, embrace peace and also get reintegrated into the society to be productive, Igbere TV reports.

He called on Nigerians to disregard the 'campaign of misinformation' and support the military in its fight against insurgency.
