"While moving the motion earlier, Bello had accused the sect of an “act of terrorism,” saying the act “seriously destabilised political, constitutional, economic and social structures of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.”

The lawmaker said, “This act seriously intimidates the population of Abuja as well as its environs and damages or intends to damage corporate existence of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Such violent and unlawful assembly becomes sporadic and leads to the loss of lives and properties."

=======

I'm afraid Buhari has succeeded in importing the Sunni-Shia sectarian rivalry and in fighting to Nigeria.

Look at an ignorant lawmaker (likely a Wahhabi) that doesn't know what the law and constitution says.

Doesn't the constitution grant freedom of assembly and freedom of protest and of speech and of religion to the citizens? No Nigerian, be he Shi'ite or Traditional Worshiper or Shintoist should be denied the right to freely practice his religion. Nigerian rights have long been trampled upon. Whenever Nigerians want to protest injustice and unfairness, it is either security forces will threaten their lives with bullets or politicians will hire thugs to infiltrate the protests and cause mayhem. We saw that when people wanted to protest Tinubu's toll gate in Lekki. Hired thugs shed blood. What the Shi'ites are doing is a fight for all Nigerians. They are teaching Nigerians through self sacrifice how to stand up for their rights and bring the politicians and thugs ruling us to shame. This is the fearlessness that is making them scared and shover from the Shi'ites. The Shi'ite ideology is centered on self sacrifice and martyrdom. If they don't be careful and grant these people their rights as citizens, Buhari will cause a problem that will outlive him and shake the entire nation to it's core.

Has it ever crossed your mind that detaining the man against court rulings maybe a way to prevent another boko haram? Assuming Obasanjo or Yaradua detained the leaders of Boko haram maybe Leah Subaru would have secured admission into University of Maiduguri now.
Imagine having another Islamic fundamental group killing along with Boko and herdsmen.

Don't let your hatred for Buhari destroy your brain and your thinking processes.

America has Guantanamo bay where they detain people indefinitely without even prosecuting them.

Try a Google search of NDAA Act 2012 which Obama signed into law on new year's eve 2011. American citizen can be detained indefinitely without trial.
You can't have a peaceful society when you are not ready to deal with the enemies of the nation mercilessly.

Some people created Boko Haram. They were using the crises to make money until Boko Haram went out of control.
Think about Dasuki gate; look at the way they were sharing the defence budget, does it look like they intend to stop Boko Haram? Now do you know how many people has been killed by Boko Haram?

Assuming the people killed by boko Haram are your wife and kids and Dasuki is your security man (NSA) would you want him to spend one day out of jail when you realised that he may have had hand in the massacre of your household?

There are reasons Dasuki is in jail without trial, USA, UK and the west are not asking for his release. When you start thinking outside the box you will see that Buhari didn't create your problems.

oga dasuki has not offended you, I or buhari but he has offended the law so let the law deal with him as appropriate.
how can you accuse someone of looting and then refuse to try the same person. if you are waiting for foreign powers to tell you how to run your country, my dear am sorry.
Re: Motion On El-zakzaky’s Release Divides Reps by pedel: 6:54pm On Jul 24, 2019
Which law? As if you actually trust the justice system to ever ever deal with the people that has mortgaged your future and that of the unborn generation. You better go buy fuel for your generator if you don't want to sleep in the dark tonight.
By the way, has GEJ's wife appealed the forfeiture of the billions of naira she couldn't explain how she earned it?
I wish I can see you and chat with you over a cup of coffee and show you why the Nigerian people would never get justice in court against the criminals that has held the country to ransom. But they have successfully set us against one another.
Someone stole Billions the law send him to 7 years in prison. He is out after 3 years to enjoy the money he stole. Is that justice?
We are talking about money that could have made Nigeria a great country despite all the oil we have sold.

I am writing this from a public library in another country. When you need a book and its not available they will ask for the details of the book and get it from another library from another city or order a new copy for you. The country is not as rich as Nigeria.

Dasuki will remain in that place for 8 years of Buhari.
I can bet that with you and anyone not pleased should join him.
However, if the legislooters can pass a law of 100 years imprisonment for economic sabotage, terrorism and treason then we can obey the order.

Have a good night.

So how come Governors never vacate their seat when the Tribunal overturned INEC declaration and still hold on till Supreme Court make their judgement?

Because tribunal is not a court of competent jurisdiction. If an appeal court nullifies the election of a governor, the governor will vacate the govt house until reinstated by the supreme court. That is the rule of law. Like rivers, omeha won in appeal court but supreme court removed him. In osun adeleke won tribunal, but lost in appeal and supreme court. Tribunals don't have the power to pass a guilty verdict they recommend a course of action for the higher courts.
