Clueless individuals. You are telling Ministry of Agriculture and Co to enlighten herdsmen of where to graze, you all must be mad. I thought the presidency feels that herdsmen have right to all grazing areas? Useless government. |

jaxxy:you are right. Exactly why I said we should support the house but insist they are transparent, respect citizens' rights and avoid bribes during investigation. When they are done, we can now also insist that previous military leaders be investigated with respect to investments in the power sector. Investigations must involve everyone. |

Here they go again to fool the ever ready foolish and gullible minded faithfuls. The biggest scam that needs probing is the monthly sharing of the money from ECA amongst the 36 state's governor's and the FG. They all should give an account of what they use those money for. Still wondering why all the states in Nigeria are still so impoverished despite the huge monthly allocation they go to Abuja to share along with the FG on a monthly basis which is outside their various IGR's. The sharing of the ECA funds is the greatest monthly scam going on Nigeria for some years now since their is no single accountability for what they where used for nor verified. This probe is nothing but a cyclical movement with the sole purpose to distract the ever gullible minded Nigerians as usual and give them something to argue about as usual and keep them busy. 1 Like |

I don't have problem with their so-called probing. My problem is APC always blame past government when they spent 4 years without anything to show |

Dead on arrival. It is just a gimmick to see if they too will get their share of the cake.. Instead of probing, what didnt theyt ask ndidu elumelu to give them the needed info on the alleged $16 billion. |

Re: House Of Representatives To Probe Obasanjo, Yar’Adua & Jonathan Power Contracts by Xisnin(m): 6:41pm On Jul 26, 2019 |
adekolaelect:You obviously don't know how the government works. The Senate never approved any $16 billion dollars for power. If you have any evidence they do please provide it. Even if we are to blindly believe that a $16 billion dollar was awarded at a mythical year, the senate only approves budget for a fiscal year based on projected revenue not on the account balance and the executive spend only a fraction of it every year. What matters is the money the government spent, not the budgetary allocation. Nobody is stopping anybody from doing their job provided they are not wasting money in the process. But each time such wild goose chase of a probe is instituted, millions are spent in the process. We complain about the national assembly consuming 20% of our budget every year and now they have another opportunity to increase their earning because of sentiments when everyone should be up in arms against another waste. The rep probed this same case in 2008 and nothing came out of it because they started with the wrong assumption and lost their way even though millions was spent on the investigation. The probe isn't about light, but the alleged spending of $16 billion dollar. |

Xisnin:Bros calm down, why carry the matter on your head like this. Is it not Nigeria again, see how you rule out every possibility of past government misappropriating power fund. Why so energetic defending corruption like this? Haba, let them do what they wanted,do you know more than all the house of reps members, are you educated or enlightened? Goosh,if the news is something bad about Buhari now,you will never give him opportunity of doubt. |

Xisnin:I understand you but let them do the investigation so they can know where to start from .you mention 208 rep investigation when obasanjo was still the dominant president then which we all know Obasanjo knew well how to deal with whoever work against him. |
