Loyalty is an
essential quality in any close relationship. It’s a strong assurance of another person; be it in work, business, family, friendship or any other form of relationships.
Loyalty is a very broad term which may be applicable in case of one’s family, locality or the country. A loyal person is ready to sacrifice even his own life for the sake of his master, friend, relative or the country. A loyal person bears a moral character, honest outlook, and disciplined manners.
A truly loyal man cannot be bribed or tempted to deviate from his own path. He is like a stone pillar which is firm and strong to withstand any force that may try to penetrate through it. He is absolutely trustworthy, reliable and dependable in all circumstances of life.
Loyalty is a quality which is found mainly among the brave and the bold characters. Meek and weak persons are mostly found lacking in the spirit of loyalty. Loyal people can become great leaders, great commanders, or great administrators in life because they often command the respect and confidence of others. Disloyal persons are hated and disbelieved by all.
Loyalty forms the basis of human character, builds up the foundation of a free country, and demands all law-abiding citizens to be loyal and patriotic. A truly loyal person will be loyal because he/she wants to, and not because he/she has been asked to.

SERVING THE COUNTRY: Nothing speaks more to the commitment for one’s nation than joining the military, the police, paramilitary organizations and or presenting yourself to be mobilized for the National Youth Service Scheme (NYSC) in order to contribute your quota to national development. It is the ultimate act of willingness to sacrifice life for the liberty of countrymen.
