It is the year 2019, still Nigeria cannot boast of any medical equipment or technology that is being manufactured on its shores.

Billions of naira are lost in revenue flight to manufacturing countries. China remains the dominant off shore supplier.

This is shocking for a country with many brilliant minds. It is even more so, when you think that we don't even need to necessarily bother about fresh innovations. We could simply take ideas from those ahead of us and manufacture our own copies of these medical equipments.
