Well I always knew Nigeria was coined from the words Nigger Area

Is he just knowing,

*Biafra word coined from the Portugese slave traders word Maifra..
*Zaria is a word coined by white guys who couldnt pronouce Emirate of ZauZau..
*Apon gbon was named after a lagos british governor with Red Beard and red hair, hence Agbo pon (red beard)

I always had this strong feelings that the name Nigeria meant Nigger Area to whites.


Now it turns out that my intuition was right all along.

The flora Shaw story was made up.

It was white slave raiders that gave us the name Nigger area.

That name is very disrespectful to every black man. Yet many have killed fellow Africans under that name.

Nigger was not originally an offensive word .it means a black man same as negro. It was stigmatization and racism that made people feel it is an offensive word.
Some many words like nigger have undergone transformation from harmless words to offensive words.

Just like the word Aboki/Mallam is used a derogatory word in southern Nigeria but the true meaning of Aboki is my Friend while Mallam means Teacher in North.
The stigmatization of the words has made some northerners pick fight with anybody that calls them aboki ,and Mallam,in southern Nigeria.

Stop believing everything the white man wrote on Wikipedia. The black slaves know their own history they can call themselves Nigger but it's not allowed for a white man to call them that because of what the word means to a white man.
