Even the Speaker then was installed by Tinubu. So when Tinubu decided not to back Ambode's re-election, the man would have moved to another party to contest but they used the house to threaten him with impeachment. Meanwhile, he needed the power of his incumbency to brighten his chances. So, if Obaseki allows Oshiomhole to take over the house, he will be like a goat being led to the slaughter house.

There is nothing wrong with my expression grammatically. There is actually the word loyalism in the dictionary. It simply means loyalty just for the sake of it, and which you credited Binis with in your penultimate post. It was you who so accused your own tribe of that by arguing that despite how deserving of a second term Ambrose Alli was on account of his performance as the governor of Bendel State, they decided to vote against him all the same just because he wasn't one of them. The Binis themselves have severally openly said it that their opposition to Ambrose Alli's attempted creation of LCDAs on the prompting of Tony Anenih is a thing they regret till today having realized that if Ambrose Alli had had his way, the more than seven LCDAs into which he split the Bini areas in his proposal, would have most likely served as the template for the 1996 LGAs creation hence the Binis would have gotten more than the current seven which they currently see as insufficient. Recall that Tony Anenih and his NPN campaigned against the LCDAs proposal on the rather lame subterfuge that it was a ploy to further divide the Bini Kingdom and which Binis bought into.
How exactly did you arrive at your conclusion that Ogbemudia is the most effective governor in the history of Bendel? As a military governor for eight/nine years, he had the privilege of longer reign with nearly 100% power compared with Ambrose Alli who, had a far shorter reign with circumscribed powers and suffered legislative opposition courtesy of the democratic dispensation in which he served. Yet Ambrose Alli is generally rated above Ogbemudia in public opinion among Edos and Deltans till today. Ambrose Alli memorial lectures hold every year as a mark of honour for him posthumously but nothing as such yet for Ogbemudia.

You are just being hyper emotional. My mention of Oshiomhole's performance is only in the comparative sense and that doesn't translate to messiahship perception. If at all any tribe in Edo State ever regarded Oshiomhole as messiah, it is definitely the Binis because in both 2007 and 2012 elections, Oshiomhole got an overwhelming majority of his votes from the Bini areas than in Edo North and Central put together. In the 2007 election, there was no voting in my own LGA in Edo North at all due to deliberate disruption of the voting exercise by the local level PDP network which viewed him as too inconsistent to be a governor courtesy of his various compromises with Obasanjo during NLC strikes over fuel prices. Then again in 2012 election he got the least percentage votes in my own LGA in protest of his excessive focus on his home Etsako areas to the total neglect of Akoko-Edo and Owan areas. The figures are available online for everyone to see. So how could he have been a Messiah to me or majority of Edo North people made up of Akoko-Edos and Owans? You obviously love to put words into people's mouths.
