The Chairman of Amaecom Group of companies, Dr. Amaechi Marcel Ofomata has been conferred with an “African Leader of Integrity Merit Award” over the weekend in Ghana in acknowledgment of his excellence in financial management, corporate leadership and entrepreneurship.

The Award was organized by the foremost Pan African Integrity Magazine during their 16th Annual Africa Leadership Development Conference & Award Gala Night as part of their strategic effort to identify economic potentials in the African continent and celebrate outstanding African Leaders who have distinguished themselves across industries.

The African Integrity Magazine observed that Dr Amaechi Marcel Ofomata of Amaecom Group has contributed immensely to the economic fortunes of Nigeria and Africa by extension in the areas of wealth/employment creation, maximization of opportunities for the citizens, bilateral trading, industrialization and economic development among others.

A communique released at the end of the Conference emphasized among others the need for more establishment of small, medium and large scale enterprises within the continent to create opportunities, wealth and development as well as engagement of partnership strategy by entrepreneurs and leaders from other sectors for rapid socio-economic, cultural and political development of Aftican states.

It is worthy to note that the Amaecom Chairman - Dr Amaechi Ofomata was equally awarded on the 21st July, 2019 back home in South South Nigeria by Akwa Ibom Icon and Dynamic Award as “Most Supporting Entrepreneur in Akwa Ibom State” in appreciation of his contributions to enterprise and entrepreneurship development.

Meanwhile, Dr Ofomata has expressed appreciation to the organizers of The Integrity Magazine, Ghana and Akwa Ibom Icon and Dynamic Award, Nigeria for the honour on him and pledged to continue to contribute in advancing entrepreneurship conversation and economic development in Nigeria and Africa.
