Some laptop don't use dvd/cd rom and using cd to format is outdated,and it takes forever to finish installing.

You should have made a post of laptop brand setup and boot menu keys then link it to this post or create a sub head and list them there.

On some models, you will have to hold the FN key plus the boot menu key to make it work, sony laptops have their own special way.

Some people will like to reload the operating system instead of formatting, some will like to create a different partition after deleting the old partition to install the operating system, well doing a video to explain everything would have been better.
