Three female students of Osun State College of Health Technology, Ilesa, are seeking for justice over attack on them by a man popularly known as “Obe” in the Bolorunduro area of the town on Saturday, 27th July 2019.

According to the victims, including two Muslims and one Christian, the man had asked one of the Muslim students out but she turned him down due to religious differences as the man is a non-muslim.

Obe, later laid ambush for the ladies, attacked them and inflicted injuries on them. They were rescued by a soldier and taken to the B Division Police Station, Ijamo, where they made a complaint against the man.

The Area Commander immediately swung into action to arrest the said “Obe” but the man is no where to be found.

However, as a result of alleged poor handling of the case by the B Division, the ladies through a soldier who came to their rescue approached the Ilesa Muslim Community chief who accompanied them to report the incident to the Area Commander Office of the Nigeria Police, Ayeso, Ilesa for proper investigation.
