YABATECH 2019/2020 POST UTME APPLICATIO N IS OUT

Applications are hereby invited from interested 2019 UTME candidates who applied for admission into Yaba College of Technology for, National Diploma (ND) Full Time and B.Sc (Edu.) in Technical Education programmes (100 level) being run in affiliation with University of Nigeria (Nsukka). The application which is on-line will commence on Thursday, August 1, 2019.
ELIGIBILITY
The admission screening is open to candidates who chose Yaba College of Technology as their 1st or 2nd Choice of Institution and scored 150 and above for National Diploma (ND) Full Time and 180 for B. Sc. Degree (100 Level) in affiliation with University of Nigeria, Nsukka in the 2019/2020 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). However, all candidates who have chosen Yabatech as 2nd Choice of Institution are required to change to First Choice on the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Portal on or before Saturday, August 31, 2019 to be eligible for admission. All candidates must not be less than 16 years old by October 31, 2019.
Application will commence from August 1, 2019 and closes on August 31, 2019.
METHOD OF APPLICATION
Applicants are to pay a fee of Two thousand Naira (N2,000.00) (excluding result verification fee and any transaction charges). Payment can be made online or in the bank. The College does not accept cash payment.
Candidates should visit the College website at www.yabatec h.edu.ng. Click on “POST UTME SCREENING 2019/2020” and follow the instructions to complete the application process appropriately.
SCREENING OF CANDIDATES
Computer Based Test (CBT) Screening will hold between September 4 – 10, 2019. Applicants should check the College website for update.
INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES
Candidates are advised to supply correct data on the portal as they will be responsible for any error made during registration and any wrong information given on Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and O’Level details will disqualify the candidate.
Inconsistency in name or picture on photo card will not be accepted by the College and may lead to disqualification of concerned candidates. Candidates’ name on their O’ Level Certificates, UTME results and other registration documents must be the same.
Candidates having difficulty in payment for registration should visit the College website and click on “help desk link” or chat on our online support portal for possible assistance.

I chose yabatech as my third choice because you can't choose polytechnic as first or second choice during jamb registration. Do I have to change it back to first choice before I can register?

You need to change Yabatech back to First Choice.

You need to choose yabatech as first choice in order to be able o register for their post utme ,also note that YABATECH post utme 2019/2020 require that you will do cbt exam.

pls I just want to do jamb change of institution to yabatech. pls is it still possible. And pls I will also want to knw if yabatech will be using CBT or they will only use the O level result and the jamb result to calculate their aggregate

1. There aren't really enough hostels to go round, you should try to apply for one immediately the application starts to stand a chance.

2. Acceptance fee is around 25k
School fees around 50k for full time students

3. The cbt test should be decided based on your subject combination for jamb(not sure tho)

I have sorted mine out!
It is basically about paying for your O'level result to be validated. It cost N1,500 each so if you are combining results it would be N3,000 plus service charge (N100 and something Naira) by Remita.

You can follow the underlisted steps to help you resolve it

Step 1: Go to http://erp.yabatech.edu.ng/application/admissions/start_olevel_verification
Step 2: Enter your Jamb Registration Number
Step 3: It would redirect you to another page
Step 4: Confirm your details and click on “ The Details above are Correct” at the bottom of the page. This would generate an invoice number for you
Step 5: Go to www.remita.net and click on “ Pay an invoice!”
Step 6: Enter the invoice number generated in Step 4 above
Step 7: Complete payment using any of the payment options available on the platform
Step 8: After successful payment, go back to http://erp.yabatech.edu.ng/application/admissions/get_olevel_verification_receipt
Step 9: Enter the invoice code generated in Step 4, it would redirect you to another page that confirms your O’level result has been verified (Check the bottom of the web page for this)

This error message usually comes up comes up when you haven't selected Yabatech as your first choice on the Jamb Portal

You would need to do a change of institution on Jamb's portal that first before you can proceed with your Postutme application
