The wife of the governor of Anambra State Ebelechukwu Obiano has shocked and outraged Anambrarians by wearing a pair of Gucci Sunglasses worth almost three thousand Dollars to a Funeral event at Anambra State.
The State First Lady had been away from the state for almost two months to the City of Houston, Texas where she was alleged to have undergone some cosmetic surgery procedures, and recuperating . She had returned to attend the burial ceremony of Chief Michael Onyema, Father to the MD of Air Peace Airlines, Mr Allen Onyema, at Mbosi in Anambra State.
The First Lady stepped into the event and sent tongues wagging about the inappropriateness of her Batman style glasses at such a sober event as a funeral ceremony. The glasses are a limited Edition Gucci pair, worth 2,755 dollars worn by a the wife of their governor in a state where back salaries are being owed civil servants and government workers and infrastructural projects are at a standstill due to lack of funds. There has been growing concern in the state over the flamboyant and lavish lifestyle of the governor of the state, dubbed ‘champagne Willie’ as a result of the outrageous volume of Champagne rumored to be consumed at the government lodge in Anambra State, and the use of state taxpayers money to fund his wife’s insatiable luxury requirements and her unending plastic surgery expenses.

Hope it is not state fund she used to buy it cos it will be recovered when they leave office

Imagine spending taxpayers money on this trash when hordes of people are dying in Anambra hospitals due to lack of funds. This type of squandamania is what lead to revolt by citizens. Thank God other First Ladies like Erelu Abiola Fayemi Of Ekiti State are more dignified and responsible in their choice of accessories.
