Ubi Franklin took to Instagram to pen down a tribute to his late father Justice Ofem, on his 15th memorial holding today August 3.

Describing the loss of a father as losing a protector, a guiding hand, a best friend and a superhero, the music executive stated that his late High Court Judge father lived well, laughed often and loved much.

His emotional tribute reads;

There is an indescribable amount of grief after losing a father. Losing a father often means losing a protector, a guiding hand, a best friend, and a superhero. But focusing on all the incredible memories you shared and the amazing man that you were can help bring light into our darker days.

This man lived well, laughed often and loved much, who has gained the respect of intelligent men and the love of children, who has filled his niche and accomplished his task. who leaves the world better than he found it, who has never lacked appreciation of earth’s beauty or failed to express it, who looked for the best in others and gave the best he had.
May God Rest your soul Always

Love you Dad

I won't say I know or understand how it feels yet because I still have both of my parents alive.

Going down memory lane..

R.I.P to him..

Are U feeling rejected, dejected and abandoned in life?

Are things not working according to plans for your life?

The bible states in Hebrew 11: 6 that without faith it is impossible to please God.

U can stand on the finished work of Calvary where Jesus died for us and released us from every bondage.

Accept Jesus and he will deliver U from the bondage of this world..

Ube is an Igbo word? Wow. I thought it was Yoruba word. That's the problem of living in Lagos, everything is mixed-up that you can't even differentiate the words of one language from another.

Hmmm, nairaland has gradually turned to a forum for advertising, but seriously what is wrong with Africans, we just can't follow orderliness.

Nice to hear of his late Dad !

At least we are getting much better news from Ubi Franklin.

We have been tired for a while now about this BABY MAMA PREGNANCY GAME that he was playing with Davido and the rest of the folks.

Such a young man has no business with BABYMAMA.

He should have been contented with some level of decency.
