Barely two months ago, my DSTV decorder developed a fault and I instructed my folks to take it to DSTV office in town. Weeks later, I was called that the viewing rights have expired, so I recharged. My folks called to say it didn't pull through. After i did some investigations I found out the decorder was swapped and the IUC changed to a new one. Invariably, i recharged the old IUC, I contacted DSTV and all they could say was they couldn't access the old IUC because it has been decommissioned. I presented all necessary documents to validate my claim of payment and more than two weeks later, they are yet to either refund or credit my IUC.

I am seriously disappointed at their services and blame it on the fact that they have more or less monopolized the market.

One thing I know companies fear the most is lawsuits. If OP is not an unserious nonentity then he should by now have contacted a legal team.
