According to Telegraph Reporters in UK recently, the life of a 48 years old man named: Paul Hutton was saved by his Apple Wrist Watch. A normal heart Rate is measure between 60 and 100bpm but Paul Hutton Apple smart wrist watch suddenly kept on signaling danger and notified him that his heart beat rate is constantly dropping below 40bpm.


However few months earlier Paul Hutton had been diagnosed of a low heart rate problem and was advised to visit hospital regularly for checkup and monitoring that prompted him to upgrade his Apple Wrist Watch so as to give him alert when his heart rate is reading outside what is normal.


Having gotten the low heart rate alert, Mr. Hutton immediately visit his doctor where he was later diagnosed of ventricular bigeminy, a situation where the blood is not able to pump out effectively as a result of irregularity of heart beat.


A surgery known as cardiac ablation was eventually carried out on Mr. Hutton to correct the irregularity in his heartbeat. Mr. Hutton is now fully recovered and going about his normal life. Thank God for his Apple wrist watch who has now become his life saver, right?

Ashleigh Li, a Senior Cardiac Nurse at the British Heart Foundation in a chat with Telegraph Reporter, said that smart wearable devices, like the Apple wrist watch, could create a new dimension in the way heart related condition are diagnosed and treated.
