March 22, 2019 was when it all started good for the 19 year old artist Rema when Mavin Records Boss, Don Jazzy Made it known on his official instagram page on signing new artist called “Rema”.

Rema whose real name is “Divine Ikubor” was brought up and mentored by fellow Mavin act D’Prince who saw the talent the young boy has and decided to introduce him to Don Jazzy.

To Defend Our Point On Saying “Rema Is Leading the New School Wave in Nigeria”
1. Right after his announcement, the visual to the Young artists official single dropped titled “Iron Man” where the boy is seen and heard dropping dope lines to the single.

That same day Rema went ahead to drop his official EP titled “Rema”, a self titled EP which consists of 4 songs with the hit single “Dumebi”.

The EP went on to Top Several Charts which include Itunes, Spotify, Apple Music in Nigeria. The hit single “Dumebi” also got massive radio plays right before the official video dropped.
