13 February 2011, Lagos — Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) Presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari, has urged Nigerians to draw lessons from the 18-day peaceful revolution which saw Hosni Mubarak quit as Egyptian President last Friday and effect a regime change in Nigeria using the ballot box in April. The pro-democracy campaigners defied all odds to achieve their goal of terminating the 30-year grip on power by Mubarak, and "their tenacity has again confirmed the truism that no force on earth can stop a people determined," Buhari noted in a statement he issued on Sunday through his Spokesman, Yinka Odumakin.
