Scripts from popular television show, Game Of Thrones, has revealed why Daenerys‘ dragon, Drogon burnt down the Iron Throne.

The last of Daenerys’ dragon, Drogon burnt down the Iron Throne in the last season of the TV show and a recent excerpt from the show’s script has revealed why.

In season 8, after Jon Snow had pierced Daenerys in the abdomen with a knife, Drogon appeared almost immediately and many would have guessed the dragon’s wrath would be on Jon, instead the Throne was burnt down.

The script excerpt read;

“Drogon wants to burn the world, but he will not kill Jon.

“He breathes fire on the back wall, blasting down what remains of the great read blocks of stones.

“We look over Jon’s shoulder as the fire sweeps towards the throne – not the target of Drogon’s wrath, just a dumb bystander caught up in the conflagration.”

This entire revealetion shows the Throne was burnt out of anger by Drogon but without wanting to burn Jon, the nearest victim being the Throne.
