A man who had been living with HIV reportedly died after showing off his faith by taking a break from the drugs meant to push down the viral load.

@T0_0lu in her tweets which revealed why the HIV patient died, insisted that a line should be drawn between faith and foolishness. She also recalled being dragged since Sunday for questioning testimonies in which Christians do weird things all in the name of 'faith'.

Reminds me of my NYSC days. Had two corpers like that always forming disciples of Jesus. They would go from house to house, school to school to spread the 'gospel'...One out of the many things they discouraged was the use of drugs and hospitals in general, as they preached believe in the 'Lord' "Jesus Christ" is enough for any true believer. They claimed they have never known any illness since they gave their lives to Christ...we tried our best to tell them they were only deceiving themselves but Mba, they won't listen....

Fast forward to the day we were to start continuous voters registration. we were posted to our various place of work and one of these guys unfortunately, was posted to an area with mosquito infestation...within two days, he was humbled by mosquitoes to an extent that the villagers had to rush him to the hospital where he received "anti-christ" treatment.

The fool didn't miss medication till he gained full recovery.
