Canada is good, US is better. Depends on your sole purpose of Immigration which is education, an american certificate is in high regards world-wide even applying for a Canadian PR visa with a US certificate will boost your score and chances.
Canada is very nice, fantastic serene, gun laws are ok, healthcare is priortized, good living etc you can't say same for the states, it's loud, crazy, fun, panaromic and the same time adventorous

Having US certificate would not boost your score, bsc/msc from US would give you the same score as bsc/msc from any university in the world as long it can be evaluated by the appropriate body
Your second paragraph is the reason I love canada and feels US is overrated, I can't leave Nigeria because of security and still go to an unsafe Nation

Very true. With the concentration of the best of the best universities globally, the US is the best place to earn a graduate degree. No country comes close.
