Igbere TV just obtained a shocking video showing the moment three Nigerian policemen were shot dead by soldiers and released a suspected kidnapper in Taraba State, Igbere TV reports.

Igbere TV had earlier reported that on Wednesday, police officers led by ASP, Felix Adolije of the Intelligence Response Team were conveying a suspected kidnapper known as Alhaji Hamisu to the command headquarters in Jalingo when they came under attack serious shooting by soldiers of the Nigerian Army, along Ibi – Jalingo Road, Taraba State.

The Operatives, who were taking the arrested suspect, Alhaji Hamisu to the Command Headquarters in Jalingo, were shot at severally by the soldiers despite sufficient proof that they are Police personnel on legitimate duty, Igbere TV had reported.

Three Policemen (comprising one Inspector and two Sergeants) and one civilian died as a result of gunshot injuries sustained in the attack while others sustained serious gunshot wounds. The soldiers thereafter released the handcuffed suspect, Alhaji Hamisu, who is now on the run.

The suspect has on been the police radar “for his complicity in several high-profile kidnap cases including the recent abduction of an Oil-Mogul in Taraba State wherein a ransom of about One Hundred Million Naira (N100,000,000) was paid.

You will pity the policemen if you understand hausa. The mob were saying thing like, Bleep ur dad, we will kill everyone of you, bastard, see,see, this one is still alive (slaps), they drag them some distance away from the scene, (more slaps). It must have been very lonely for them.

Something is wrong somewhere. I sense the army is lying for sure,they knew who they were shooting at nd whom they (police) had with them.

After watching the video , u can hear a man tlking in hausa that an i.d was shown to them by the occupants of the vehicle in which they stated to them clearly that they(the occupants) were officers from IGP's office.

Tha fvck is wrong up north?? Some one is shielding these kidnappers nd heads of militias if not how can u gun down police officers after undoubted clarifications??

Some one somewhere was afraid Alhaji Hamisu might sing to does detectives , so they to set him free. Besides if it was truly Army generals shielding him then he might probably be long dead in some shallow grave(to cover their tracks).

I understand the IGP's team on a special Op will try not to jeopardize their mission by not informing other security agencies in the state concerning the operation.
But i believe they should have given informations to any possible road blocks ahead to clear the way for them after they captured the suspect.

Nothing still come out of the investigation.


At least, they have seen what the common man faces every day!
