Osimhem to Lille, now Onyekuru to Monaco,Iwobi in Everton, all will be playing weekly in one of the five top leagues in Europe.Chukwueze too is a rising star in Europe.
In defence too there is Ekong,in Italy,Omeruo, the full backs etc,in first division and playing regularly.
If we can solve the goalkeeping issue,Nigeria will go to the world cup qualifiers and next Nation's cup with a very formidable squad of footballers.
This is probably the first time in many years Nigeria will have a squad of footballers playing regularly in the top leagues of Europe;unlike in the past 8years or so when we had a good number playing in lesser divisions.
Kudos.

To what end will all this be with Mr Rohr still in charge? He'd just underexploit the resources as he's done in the last 3 years and tag the team "young" as an excuse

Seems ligue 1 wants to buy all Nigerian players o
My problem with ligue 1 is once u stop scoring goals and lose form, then they are done with u, check the antecedents of former Nigerian players like Okocha, John Utaka, etc even Enyeama..

Good stuff. He can learn from players like Cesc Fàbregas (who incidentally is happy that thru Chelsea he finally tasted EPL success that he suffered to get at Arsenal during his younger years).
Am sure he is thankful he's no longer sticking around Chelsea to be hammered FOUR - ZEROS.. undecided

LoL. The vibrancy of any national team depends on the application of the administrators. Naija is fvvvcked due to long throatology. All we produce these days are one track players who attack. Where are the midfield thinkers and playmakers, defensive lions, raiding full backs...

Now it is just forwards, wingers and DM's..

DOA

I understand your frustration as a Gunner ... the last time the Gunners won EPL, you were in JSS 1 and watching their games on a tube tv grin

PS: Sorry for the spanking Chelsea gave your Gunners at the Europa final. As a Chelsea fan i actually rooted for you guys to win since we had already won the trophy and secured UCL qualification but then Gunners always fail ... grin
