We've all read and heard of the ingenuity of the Biafran scientists and engineers in reeling out weapons from scrap.

They built not only rocket launchers, tanks, APCs and fabricated spare parts for aircrafts but also developed their own technology to drill and refine crude oil.

Now contrast with that of the Nigerian Federal forces who had at their disposal huge mineral resources from iron Ore and what not and suffering no blockade but depended solely on imported weapons and expertise from across the world.

Would the situation of relying solely on imported weaponry by the Nigerian Army had been the case if they had absorbed those brilliant Biafran scientists and engineers?

"Operation Paper Clip" was carried out during the dying moment of Nazi Germany by both the American and Russians to absorb Germany scientists. The US and Russian space program won't have been successful without the inputs of brilliant German scientists who invented the V2 rockets and jet propulsion engines.

Japanese scientist were also absorbed by the US in their work on biological and chemical weapons.

Was absolute niggery behind the Nigerian reason to destroy and bury all scientific and engineering breakthroughs by the Biafrans?

Pride.

They don't want to have their arms manufactured by Nyamiris.

They would rather circumvent the Law to buy arms illegally from US or elsewhere.

Our redemption isn't in sight
