Snail Farming is a serious business and requires huge investment in spite of the myth that it is a venture you can run with just #20k One good thing about snail farming business is that market is never a problem. Rather, consistent supply is it. Snail is a delicacy consumed in both local and foreign markets. An 100% increase in supply will be readily consumed by the market. Demand outweighs the supply in the industry. The industry requires huge investment compared to what people believe it is. Millions of naira will be needed to rear and breed 3000 - 5000 mature snails. And this can be consumed by just 5 eateries within a month.
