A church that frequently visits & helps the homeless, prisoners, street children, beggars, poor, destitute etc

Knowledge/wisdom from GOD (which is the gift of Holy spirit) is very important for understanding the Scripture and for Prophesy. With Holy Spirit, the right answers come into one's mind just like that. It happened to me recently... So I know what it feels like... though am not sure about the true origin of the informations I received.

The Apostles had to wait for the gift of the Holy spirit before they began to preach the Gospel. Fire (tongues of fire on heads of disciples) usually represent knowledge and understanding. The church needs the Holy Spirit to direct her.

Out of all what you've mentioned above, numbers(6) and your last statement is what i will correct here!

When talking about Christianity, we need to first of all ascertain one thing TRUTH! Jesus said "you will know the truth and the truth will set you free!" John 8:32

When Jesus said that, it's important for sincere and honesthearted persons to ask "why did Jesus make such statement?"

Well, it's because Jesus knew perfectly that Satan will soon come into the midst of his followers {the one and only group worshiping the true God in the first century} to overturn everything that he taught them! Matthew 13:25
So Jesus asked "if i return, will i still find this faith the way i laid it down?" Luke 18:8

Actually Satan surely conquered by first of all making sure that all the pioneers of the truth were executed brutally one after another and that leads to compromise so that by the end of the second century, the Church had totally succumb to what Satan wanted FALSEHOOD! And charitable organization replaced real Christianity so that most people can't distinguish between Christianity and charitable organizations. But the real Christianity Jesus established has nothing to do with that, it was solely based on ascertaining facts about sacred secrets and helping others to know about it! Matthew 28:19-20

Jesus then promised that during the last days true Christianity will surface again and by that time Satan will not be able to conquer them because they will be spread abroad throughout the earth and they will be recognized with one unique teaching which will bind them together as one big spiritual family of peace-loving worshippers!

Today we have that group exactly as Jesus promised, but sadly Satanic teachings have spread so wide that even when people see the REAL Christians now, they hate them vehemently from the heart just as people also hated Jesus followers in the first century! John 17:14-16 compared to Matthew 10:22

It was Judas Iscariot who suggested charity arrangement and Jesus frankly told him "don't worry, at your own personal discretion you can do that" John 12:4-8

After Jesus' ascension to heaven the Holy Spirit came and Christianity was established as they started laying the foundation of how the Church should be organised, then they committed a costly blunder! Instead of focusing on their preaching and teaching assignment they wanted to eradicate poverty in their midst, of course it cost them the life of a precious Christian couple and immediately they stopped charitable arrangements so that each Christian can PERSONALLY decide on his/her own to help any poor person just as had taught them! Act 4:32~5:11

So you have the true Christians today but sadly you will find one reason or another to criticize them based on the false teachings that Satan has spread abroad which you happened to know first before meeting them, yet you will know that truthfully everything you so much desire to find in Christianity {apart from the false teachings of Christendom Churches which are of no benefits} is right there amongst Jehovah's Witnesses!

I doubt anyone prays if they do not believe in God, though, there are those who hope but do not believe in God. But yes, rain may fall or not whether one prays or not since one has no control over what God does or does not do or upon the weather. It is for this exact reason that we hope our prayers are answered.

Pray with all your Heart, with all your Soul, with all your Mind and with all your Strength. Jesus did that at the Garden of Getsimane when the sweat coming out of Him was like blood. The Wisdom He received was that "for that purpose He came to save the world". He immediately conceded to The Will of God.
"Lead us not into Temptation and deliver us from evil"; is a Prayer that must not leave the Tongue of a BornAgain Christian.
