India's prime minister has raised an alarm over the risk of an 'unchecked population explosion' in the nation. Speaking recently, Narendra Modi called for family planning measures and praised an 'informed section' of society who are 'doing good for the country' by choosing to have small families. 'It will bring a lot of challenges for the future generations,' Mr Modi said in a speech in New Delhi. He added: 'We have to think if we can do justice to the aspirations of our children.'
