Even though backing up data and files are easy, some persons find it difficult to do. And in most cases lose contacts, important data and memorable pictures especially due to device corruption or loss. In this article, you’ll find the most effective ways to backup and restore data on android. For any android device, and every type of data. You can simply backup everything from apps, contacts, device settings and other files with your device and no third party app involved. Here are the ways you can backup your android device (phone and tablet) and restore them as well.

How to Backup Android Phone Using Built-In Device Backup & Restore Option
Other than Google account, you can also do a device back up via the “Backup & Restore” option. This feature is readily available to use for all Android phones.
To perform a backup or to restore a backup, simply do the following steps:

1. Launch Your Device Settings App
Within the Settings App in your device, you can access all your device configurations and options. To start the process of backing up, launch this app and start the process.

2. Tap On Backup & Restore
Once in the Settings App, look for Backup & Restore option. Though, the location of this option may vary on different devices. While this option is readily available on some mobile devices, in some you’ll find this option within Account or System.

3. Select Data Backup
Once you find the Backup & Restore option, you’ll need an external storage to back up the content of your device. There are a variety of external devices to choose from. Ranging from a Micro-SD card, external hard-drive, a computer, or an OTG USB flash drive. This method requires you to use only an external storage device and not the internal storage of your phone. To begin this process, select the external storage option, and then tap on backup. You can then select the files you desire to backup, you can backup your contacts, messages, and other files.
