Lampard’s wait for his first win as Chelsea boss goes on after a 1-1 draw with Leicester, which saw the Foxes fight back to claim a draw at Stamford Bridge.
Giroud got to the nod in the starting line-up ahead of Tammy Abraham, but was hooked with 20 minutes left to play. ‘I was very surprised to see Olivier Giroud getting taken off when he did,’ Wright said after the game.
