The residents of Obasanjo Road in Dutse Abuja, FCT woke up this morning, after the heavy downfall to discover that the only road in their area has split into two. There was unconfirmed report that a dam nearby called Usman Dam was opened which led to increase in pressure of water thereby cutting the road which the residents have been managing all this while, into two.

Apart from central area Abuja roads are bad! Even area 1 round about is not left out when it rains 1 Like |

I don't like how people cook up stories, this road has been cracked up for like 5months... Shabby contractor job to aid the politicians disburse funds during the elections .... I live in News Engineering and during the weekends go to dutse market via this same route. As at last weekend, I had to park my car , cross over a wooden ledge and use a bike to the market... My advice, leave this country as soon as you can, "there was a country called Nigeria" 2 Likes |

My brother, I don't think this is the road you are referring to. This is Obasanjo Road bu Dutse Baupma. Down after the market and sokale roundabout. This just happened this morning. I live there. I took the pics myself |
