Police in Lagos have sealed the venue of a symposium by a pro-RevolutionNow group, Coalition for Revolution (CORE). Nobel laureate, Wole Soyinka, is among headline speakers expected at the gathering, Igbere TV reports. The symposium was billed to hold on Monday at 46 Ibijoke Street, Oluyole bus-stop, Oregun, Lagos with the theme “Democracy, State Repression and the State of insecurity in Nigeria”. The police have mounted barricades around the venue.
