Job Title: Adult Education

Location: Lagos

Job Objectives
Adult Class needs a qualified part-time candidate for private home tutors.

Responsibilities
o Identify client’s learning needs and discuss short-term and long-term goals
o Work with client to develop lessons, deliver lessons (using practical and interactive methodologies as appropriate)
o Teach English language skills in reading, writing, listening and speaking, as well as for specific contexts (e.g. travel, business, examination)
o Record student progress and conduct assessments
o Interact positively with clients to promote a fun, friendly and creative learning environment
o Assign and correct homework and tests
o Evaluate and discuss client’s progress
o Prepare and present monthly reports


Qualifications and Requirements
o Excellent command of English language, including reading, writing, conversation, business vocabulary and cultural understanding
o A tertiary language qualification, preferably a Bachelor's Degree and other related certifications
o A strong ability to motivate students and communicate teaching content creatively and effectively
o Reliability, professional personal presentation and the ability to lead classes and work unsupervised
o Prior teaching experience is desirable
