ATTACK ON EKWEREMADU: An Action Every Igbo Should Condemn Intoto by NAPC1(m): 4:10am On Aug 20, 2019
The news of attack of an illustrious son of Igbo race, an indefatigable and respectable policeman of repute who has championed and continued to stand defense of the interest of Ndi Igbo has continued to attract reactions across board.

The Director General of Atikulated Agenda and Global Initiative for Good Governance (GIGG), Chief Dr. Emeka Kalu has in a Press Statement issued from his USA base and signed by his aide on media and publicity, Comr. Amos Kalu, condemned the unwarranted attack on Senator Ike Ekweremmadu in Germany.

In his statements, Dr. Kalu maintained that there are other ways the people could’ve expressed their displeasure of which dialogue is the best option rather than taking laws into their hands in such a manner that will portray Ndi-Igbo as an unlawful race.

He said it is important that we value what we have at all times irrespective of our sentiments and emotions. Insisting that Ekweremmadu have not just endeared himself to his and other people’s heart as an Igbo but a true definition of brother.

Borrowing the words of Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe who captured the incident in a more vivid description, "Obviously this is not how to repay a man, an outstanding leader of men, an unpretentious Igbo leader who has given his all even going as far as deploying his means to arrange for the bail of Nnamdi Kanu, not minding the repercussions to his illustrious political career.

"It is unfortunate. The perpetrators of the attack should know that as Igbos, we respect elders and reverence our leaders. The unwarranted attack is not the character of the Igbo. This is un-Igbo. It is most worrisome and even inconceivable that the attackers will choose an auspicious occasion where our people are celebrating and showcasing our rich culture to exhibit such is unbecoming”

“I join millions of Nigerians and Ndi Igbo home and abroad to condemn the actions of the perpetrators and I call on the German Government to investigate the matter and bring the culprits to book.

“It is a deep rooted culture of the Igbo to respect our elders irrespective of any clime we find ourselves, because we believe that respect is reciprocal” He said.

Wallahi, I dont understand Ibo people. German police, who are the law enforcers and have jurisdiction over the case have reviewed and said IPOB did not violate any rule.....but Kalu in US, says they broke law. Which law, German or American....or is it Nigerian?

Nobody should disturb IPOB o....otherwise we call Falana on you. angry
