The Role: Online Community Manager

Job Description:

• Develop and execute social media strategy through research, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification

• Drive engagement, build meaningful connections and encourage community members through dialogue and messaging

• Coordinate and implement the development of contents for the company’s digital platforms

• Leverage industry trends, competitors’ efforts, events and key consumer insights to drive equity growth

• Support brand positioning efforts in line with set guidelines and standards

• Build and execute social media campaigns, content pillars and editorial calendars

• Create and manage lead generation campaigns to support marketing efforts

• Collaborate with other departments to manage company reputation, coordinate promotions, and increase reach

• Track and analyze analytics report to gain insight into web traffic, users’ behavior, demographics, and effectiveness; utilize this information to positively amplify future outcomes

• Perform additional tasks as may be assigned

The Person: Qualifications/Requirements

• First degree from a reputable institution

• Demonstrated experience with the business applications of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.)

• Knowledge of WordPress, copywriting and ability to use design tools

• Understanding of project management and web best practices

• Knowledge of social media metrics, and ability to interpret the results and take action to boost the effectiveness of social media campaigns

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Understanding of SEO and best practices in web traffic

• Minimum of 2-years’ experience in a similar role
