It is because they were two steps removed from the power play.

In our democracy a Minister is like a Head of State...the power play in a parastatal is at the Permanent Secretary level down. However well knowledgable and well intent a Minister is the Perm Sec and those under him can make a very skilled technocrat and eligible Minister appear incompetent.

To truly know who holds the reins of power in these Ministeries and how events will play out.....we now know who these Ministers are....how many of us know who the Perm Secs in the respective Ministries are, and what to expect?

Let us find out and list names of Perm Secs here. We need to be involved in shaping government going forward. Lack of knowledge robs us of civic participation and we become complacent....waiting for handouts of bags of rice, kerosene, agbalumo and 500 naira. grin

Join me on this task fellow Nigerians....give us names of Perm Secs currently heading Govt Ministries.
